AdvocacyThe Advocacy committee seeks to work with local Towns, Municipalities, and all interested parties in advocating for the transformation of the way buildings are designed, constructed, and operated so as to enable an environmentally and socially responsible, healthy, and prosperous environment that improves the quality of life for all Long Islanders. We are committed to working with our fellow Long Islanders to improve our quality of life by improving the quality of the structures we build, and the environment in which we all live, work, and play. We espouse the belief that greening the built environment will lead the restoration of the natural environment, enrich communities, and strengthen the economy – When you build green, everyone profits.
